Last weekend was Gardening Scotland – we’d never been before and it was BRILLIANT.

From the show gardens to the school’s entries, the craft hall and especially the main hall, I was in paradise! So many beautiful shapes, colours and inspiration all around – it was quite heady!

We had a bonsai and cacti on our shopping list and came out with 2 lovely fledgling trees after a lovely chat with the Scottish Bonsai Society as well as a few cacti, some amazingly scented chamomile, some more alpines for my vertical garden project and the rockery, amongst other things.

I now can’t wait until next year!
