There are signs of Spring everywhere now but we’re still getting snow and sub-zero temperatures – really quite desperate to start getting those fingers grubby again – there’s certainly an awful lot to do in the garden, it’s a fright!
We’ve been lucky enough to receive some wonderful new garden goodies this week – the lovely people at Festive Lights sent us a solar lantern and some solar lights to try out and the equally lovely people at The Orchard (I LOVE their stuff) sent us a beautiful Kew Gardens Plant Pot to ‘dress’.
Sadly with more snow this morning and a load more forecast tonight/tomorrow, I can’t see us getting out there for at least another week or so. May just have to go to a garden centre in the meantime – we have a few vouchers from our wedding that will come in very handy.
We have also had a landscape gardener around to see about starting on our front garden, although the discovery of concrete underneath all the pebbles means that it looks like it’ll require some heavy machinery in to dig that out first, a little scared to see the quote when it comes in.
