At dusk I was just wandering about the garden to check on the beds I planted over the weekend when I noticed that our wonderful new upside down tomato plant grower was on the decking, the bag split open, along with the beam it had been hanging from – goodness only knows how that could’ve happened as the beam was well wedged into the framework…
Lots of feathers but no dead bird, that was until Cosmo rooted out a bloody great pigeon that must’ve hidden itself in the hedge – he promptly snaffled it and ran off behind the summer house with it.
Another lovely & busy day in the garden despite discovering 2 more wasps nests in the garden shed! It was warm, if a little cloudy – perfect gardening weather!
Whilst sat having breakfast in the garden we noticed a couple of wasps landing and crawling between the decking – uh oh – that can only mean one thing…!
