I was sent a review copy of Crops In Pots – 50 cool containers planted with fruit, vegetables and herbs by Bob Purnell which is being published this month. It sounded right up my street as I’m currently planning my veggies for this year and it didn’t disappoint.

Sandy’s Homegrown Pasta Sauce
The garden has been ‘difficult’ this year with the excess of rain and cold temperature. Some things like the rhubarb, strawberries, carrots and parsnips are all doing great but things like radishes, mizuna, spinach and rocket just haven’t been any where near as good as last year.
